West Indies captain, Hayley Matthews, will miss the final match of her side's ODI series in England after picking up a shoulder injury during the tour.
Matthews also sat out the second ODI after aggravating a problem with her left shoulder during the first ODI at Derby. She was seen on the sidelines during the match, which West Indies lost by 143 runs, with her arm in a sling to support her shoulder. Following the game, West Indies head coach Shane Deitz said: "She is going to London tomorrow morning (Thursday, June 5), so we'll know more then."
Hayley Matthews ruled out of final England ODI
Matthews was player of the series in the T20I leg of the tour, scoring a remarkable century in the first match at Canterbury, as well as scoring 71 and taking 3-32 in the final T20I at Chelmsford. Her lone effort in Canterbury broke the record for the lowest total in which an individual century has been scored in a woman's T20I. She scored 100* out of West Indies's total of 146-7. Matthews finished that series with an average of 88.50. In the first ODI, she put on 91 for the first wicket with Qiana Joseph.

West Indies have yet to win a match on the tour, which has been a bruising experience for a side already shorn of some of their most experienced players. Deandra Dottin was injured out of the tour before it started, and so was explosive all-rounder Chinelle Henry. Stafanie Taylor was only able to play the second T20I in the short-form series, while Stafanie Taylor has also featured sporadically.
With England already having won the ODI series, they will be looking for a clean-sweep in the final match of the tour in Taunton tomorrow (June 7).
