The inaugural edition of the European T20 Premier League (ETPL 2026) is set to get underway on August 26, with the final scheduled for September 20. Here’s all you need to know about the tournament.
ETPL 2026: Teams and format
Six teams - Amsterdam Flames, Belfast Wolves, Edinburgh Castle Rockers, Dublin Guardians, Rotterdam Dockers and Glasgow Cosmic - will compete for glory over the course of 32 ETPL matches. Each team will play 10 games in the league stage, with the top team qualifying directly to the final. The teams placed second and third in the points table will face off in the qualifier.
Some of the top T20 players across the world will be in action, including three former India players - Ravichandran Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane and Vijay Shankar. Mitchell Santner, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Daryl Mitchell and Anrich Nortje are among the prominent international stars who will showcase their skills in the competition.
