
Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars in the latest Pakistan Super League match: here's the updated PSL 2025 points table, along with net run-rate.
In a rain-curtailed match, shortened to 15-overs-a-side, Qalandars batted first, putting up 160-8. The Kings' target was revised to 168, with the game coming down to the final over.
Karachi Kings get to 10 points
Led by David Warner, who opened alongside Tim Seifert, the Kings had one powerplay over less to overhaul the target. Between overs 4 to 7, they lost their top three, and were on 120-5 at the end of the 12th over, needing 48 off the last three.
Irfan Khan, then on 15 off 13, smashed three sixes off a Shaheen Afridi over, before smashing a further 20 off Haris Rauf to set up a thrilling last over. Mohammad Nabi got out off the first ball of the 15th, but Irfan took them home with a six off Daryl Mitchell. The win took the Kings to 10 points, and a net run-rate of 0.433.
The Qalandars are now in danger of getting eliminated, having lost four, won four, with one game bearing no result. The Gladiators continue to be at the top of the points table, having been undefeated in their last five matches. Multan Sultans are at the bottom of the table, with just one win in eight games.
