Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan broke into the top three of the ICC men's T20I batting rankings on Wednesday (February 11).

Farhan starred for Pakistan against USA in the T20 World Cup on February 10, scoring 73 off 41 balls to power his side to 190-9. In the previous game against the Netherlands, he top-scored once again with 47. Those two knocks have pushed him up from seventh in the world to third, from a rating of 722 to 769 points. Farhan is also closing in on his personal best rating of 782 points.
New Zealand opener Tim Seifert also moved up one place, from ninth to eighth with a personal best rating of 740 points. Sri Lanka leggie Wanindu Hasaranga gained one place in the bowling rankings, moving from sixth to fifth while Pakistan's Salman Mirza moved from No.22 to No.13, a rise of nine spots.
A spell of 1-17 and knock of five not out off two balls was enough for Sikandar Raza to re-take his spot as the No.1-ranked all-rounder in the format, pushing Saim Ayub down to second. West Indies' Romario Shepherd also moved from tenth to seventh in the rankings.
