ICC men’s T20I team rankings ahead of 2026 T20 World Cup
England’s 3-0 win in Sri Lanka completed the last men’s T20Is featuring any of the 20 participant teams of the 2026 T20 World Cup, to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. England and Sri Lanka remained at third and eighth places respectively.
A 3-0 sweep against Australia, on the other hand, helped Pakistan overtake the West Indies and reach sixth place. Bangladesh, who will miss the T20 World Cup, are ninth, while Scotland, who replaced them, are 14th.
Of the top 20, Bangladesh are the only team who will not be part of the World Cup, which will feature 27th-placed Italy.
