The West Indies, the USA, and India all picked up two points on day nine of the T20 World Cup 2026. Here are the tournament standings after Sunday’s action.

West Indies vs Nepal
The West Indies comfortably beat Nepal at Mumbai to knock them out of the World Cup. Early strikes reduced Nepal to 23-4 and then 73-6 before captain Dipendra Singh Airee (58 in 47 balls) lifted them to 133-8 as Jason Holder finished with 4-27. Shai Hope (61* in 44) and Shimron Hetmyer (46* in 32) then saw the West Indies home with nine wickets and 28 balls in hand.
Namibia vs USA
The USA defeated Namibia by 31 runs at Chennai. They rode on Monank Patel’s 30-ball 52 and Sanjay Krishnamurthi’s 33-ball 68* to post 199-4 and restricted Namibia to 168-6. With 51 to score in two overs, Zane Green became the first batter to retire out in the 2026 T20 World Cup.

India vs Pakistan
India qualified for the Super Eights with a 61-run win against Pakistan at Colombo. Ishan Kishan’s 40-ball 77 took India to 175-7 in tricky conditions before they reduced Pakistan to 14-3 inside two overs. Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals before being eventually bowled out for 114.

The West Indies are as good as through to the Super Eights, while Nepal have been knocked out. Pakistan slipped below the USA in net run rate, and now have to beat Namibia in order to qualify.
