The ICC have released the list of umpires and match officials for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 semi-finals.
South Africa, New Zealand, England and India are the four sides to have made the last four of the biennial tournament. The first semi will be played between South Africa and New Zealand in Kolkata on March 4, while India and England will face off in the other on March 5 in Mumbai.

Semi-Final 1: South Africa vs New Zealand, Kolkata, March 4 (7pm local time, 1.30pm GMT)
Semi-Final 2: India vs England, Mumbai, March 5 (7pm local time, 1.30pm GMT)

With the ICC appointing neutral match officials for each game, the English duo of Richard Illingworth & Alex Wharf will be the on-field umpires in the first semi-final. India’s Nitin Menon will be the third umpire, while his compatriot Javagal Srinath has been appointed the match referee. Australia’s Rod Tucker will be the fourth umpire for the game.
New Zealand’s Chris Gaffaney and South Africa’s Allahuddien Paleker have been named the on-field umpires for the India vs England semi-final. Adrian Holdstock, from South Africa, will be the third umpire, while Australia’s Paul Reiffel has been appointed as the fourth umpire. Zimbabwe’s Andy Pycroft will be the match referee.
