She is now the joint-fastest to 1,000 women’s ODI runs, having equalled the record set by Lindsay Reeler from Australia in 1988. Both took 23 innings to reach the landmark. In fact, Rawal broke into an all-Australia top four, with Meg Lanning & Nicole Bolton (25), as well as Belinda Clark (27, joint with South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt) following them.

Among Indians, she broke Mithali Raj and Deepti Sharma’s joint record. Mithali reached the landmark in 2003, taking 29 matches to be joint-seventh with Charlotte Edwards, Sarah Taylor, Phoebe Litchfield and Deepti. Litchfield crossed the 1,000-run mark during the ongoing World Cup as well.
