The league stage of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 concluded with India and Bangladesh sharing points after the fixture was rained out.
India looked set to complete their fourth win in seven games, their 2025 World Cup semi-final spot already confirmed, but rain played spoilsport, allowing a combined 35.4 overs in all. Put in to bat, Bangladesh managed 119-9 in the allotted 27 overs. Radha Yadav, playing her first game of the tournament, picked up three wickets, with each of India's other four bowlers picking at least a wicket each.

The match was initially supposed to be 43-overs-a-side after rain delayed the start, but it was further curtailed to 27-overs-a-side. At that point, Bangladesh were 39-2 in 12.2 overs before rain came pouring in again, truncating it further. India then went on to chip away with wickets, keeping their run-rate under five throughout. They ambled to 119-9, with Sharmin Akhter top-scoring with 36. Sobhana Mostary was the next best with 26 off 21.
India suffered a setback when Pratika Rawal had a freak knee and ankle injury in the outfield, and had to be helped off the field.
India will now play Australia in the second semi-final, with England playing South Africa in the first. The final is supposed to be held on November 2.
