The International League T20 begins on Tuesday, December 2, and here is a list of English players who will play in the tournament.
The fourth edition of ILT20 begins in Dubai, with the defending champions Dubai Capitals taking on the Desert Vipers in the tournament opener. Gulf Giants and the MI Emirates are the other two sides to have won the ILT20 title in the past. Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah have been picked as the venues.
The tournament will be played in a double round robin format, with each side facing the other twice during the league phase. The top two sides at the end of the league phase will face off in Qualifier 1 for a spot in the final, while the teams that finish third and fourth will play the Eliminator.
The winner from Eliminator and the loser from Qualifier 1 will then come up against each other in Qualifier 2, with the winner to play the final against the Qualifier 1 victor. The final is scheduled to be played on January 4, 2026, in Dubai.
Players from all around the globe will feature in the T20 tournament, including those from England, and also some retired international stars. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have the biggest English contingent of the six participating teams with six players.
