South Africa clean-swept India in the two-Test series, winning in Kolkata and Guwahati. Here's what the World Test Championship points table looks like after the result.

After a rank turner in Kolkata, South Africa and India were welcomed to a classical Test pitch in Guwahati. Temba Bavuma won the all-important toss and South Africa piled on 489 in the first innings.

Senuram Muthusamy struck a first Test hundred, while Marco Jansen hit a career-best 93. All but one of the South African batters got into double digits on a batting-conducive pitch, but India couldn’t get close to that, let alone overhauling the score.

Simon Harmer runs through India again

The hosts were bowled out for 201, handing the Proteas a massive 287-run first-innings lead. Only Yashasvi Jaiswal could score a fifty, with Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav putting up a rearguard defence to take India past 200.

After much deliberation, South Africa came on to bat for a second time, playing almost 80 overs to declare at 260-5 and hand India 549 runs to win. With a draw seemingly the only positive result that the hosts could take from the game, they lost five wickets for just 58 runs before tea on the final day.

Eventually, they were bowled out for 140 to lose the Test by 408 runs and suffer a second home clean sweep under Gautam Gambhir in just over a year. Simon Harmer finished with nine wickets, while Jansen ended with seven.
