India are set to host the West Indies for three ODIs starting Sunday, September 27. Here are the squads, team news and schedule ahead of the series.
India and West Indies will lock horns in three ODIs with the series getting underway in Thiruvananthapuram. The Caribbean side are touring India for an ODI series for the first time since February 2022, when they were blanked 3-0.
In fact, India have not lost their last 13 bilateral ODI series, home or away, against the West Indies. Shai Hope and his team would be keen on setting that record straight, and making this their first ODI series win in India since 2006.
All three matches of the series are set to begin at 2pm local time (9.30am UK time, 4.30am Atlantic Standard Time).

The likes of Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah and Ishan Kishan will miss the upcoming series as they are part of the India squad for Asian Games. Moreover, with Hardik Pandya yet to gain full fitness, they management has also withdrawn Nitish Kumar Reddy from the Asian Games squad to play the West Indies ODIs. Naman Dhir and Auqib Nabi have received their maiden ODI call-ups, while Ravindra Jadeja is back in the squad for the first time since January 2026.
As for the West Indies, Shimron Hetmyer has been granted rest for the ODI series, while Ackeem Auguste is recovering after undergoing a surgery in August. Opener John Campbell is back after recovering from a hamstring injury. The visitors have also recalled Jewel Andrew, who last featured in the format in June 2025.
