Rashid’s figures were severely dented by the onslaught from Gurbaz, who scored 28 off of 11 balls off him. Rashid eventually went for 54 in his four overs, his second-most expensive in the IPL.

Noor was also given the treatment by his international teammate in the 12th over, when Gurbaz crashed him over long off for a six. Noor eventually got Gurbaz, when he holed out to deep mid-wicket in the 16th over, and ended with impressive figures of 2-21 from his four overs.

The Titans are currently 111-3 in 14 overs in their response to Kolkata’s total, with Vijay Shankar and David Miller at the crease.
