The four IPL 2025 playoffs spots have been decided, but the top two remain undecided.
On May 21, Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by 59 runs at the Wankhede Stadium to join Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 2025 IPL playoffs. With the four spots sealed, the interest switched to who would make it to the top two and earn the temporary immunity of Qualifier 1.
GT and RCB had their chances to edge ahead in the race over the next two games, but they lost their matches to Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively. All four teams are still in the race.
