What were the talking points in GT vs MI, IPL 2026 match 30?
Both sides came into this came with contrasting fortunes. GT were looking to keep moving up, building on their solid recent performances, while there was a real chance that MI's season could swiftly unravel. Tilak Varma went from 19 (22) to 101* (45) in the first innings, and was undoubtedly the star of the show. Kagiso Rabada was also impressive in the first innings, finishing with 3-33 after his early burst had MI in trouble. Left-armer Ashwani Kumar returned the standout figures in Mumbai's defense, with 4-24 in four overs. Spinners Allah Ghazanfar and Mitchell Santner also took four wickets between them.
