What were the talking points in KKR vs GT?
Finn Allen almost scored his second hundred of the season, hitting 10 sixes in his 35-ball stay. Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green both played influential knocks to take their side to a mammoth 247-2. Gujarat’s approach in the chase was rather puzzling, with Jos Buttler and Shubman Gill probably waiting too long to accelerate. Gill’s dismissal in the 17th over effectively killed the chase for the visiting side at Eden Gardens.
Who were the top performers in KKR vs GT?
Allen was unarguably the best performer, scoring 93 off 35, while Raghuvanshi hit 82 in 44 balls. Jason Holder was the only GT bowler to concede runs at less than 10 an over. Gill was GT’s top scorer, hitting 85 off 49. Sunil Narine returned brilliant figures of 2-29 from his four overs.
