Today's IPL 2026 matches: Who are the players to watch out for?
RCB vs LSG, Bengaluru, 7.30pm local time
RCB have won three of their four matches so far, and look every bit the well-oiled unit they were last year. Captain Rajat Patidarin particular has looked in terrific form with the bat, while Krunal Pandya'smixed bag of spin tricks have been the standout on the bowling front. All eyes will also be on Josh Hazlewood; the pacer made his first appearance of the season in their loss to Rajasthan, but did not play the following game.
Lucknow have won two out of four games, one of them out of absolutely nowhere thanks to the uncapped Mukul Choudhary's incredible death overs hitting. Mohammed Shami remains one to watch given how well he has bowled in the Powerplay this year, while LSG will be hoping for Nicholas Pooran to finally find some form. Tom Moody said ahead of the game that Mohsin Khan and Mayank Yadav are "ready to play now", so one of them could come into the XI on Wednesday evening.
