          April 4: Today’s IPL matches

Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians - Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, 3.30pm local time

Who are the players to watch out for?

Delhi and Mumbai enter this game on the back of respective wins in their tournament opener. DC’s top order of KL Rahul, Pathum Nissanka and Nitish Rana struggled in their first game against LSG, and the onus will be on them to deliver this time. Lungi Ngidi is definitely the bowler to watch out for from the Delhi-based side. They are unlikely to make any changes to a winning combination.

For Mumbai, Ryan Rickelton was the star in their 221-run chase against KKR. Rohit Sharma, too, looked in great touch, and it would be interesting to see if they continue their form or the star-studded middle order takes the onus on themselves. AM Ghazanfar didn’t have the best of IPL debuts, and could be one to watch out for if he gets another go. But Mitchell Santner would probably replace him.

          Toss and playing XIIs

Toss is scheduled to take place at 3pm local time.

Delhi Capitals (Probably playing XII): KL Rahul (wk), Pathum Nissanka, Nitish Rana, Axar Patel (c), Sameer Rizvi, Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, Vipraj Nigam, Kuldeep Yadav, Lungi Ngidi, Mukesh Kumar, T Natarajan.

Mumbai Indians (Probably playing XII): Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya (c), Naman Dhir, Sherfane Rutherford, Mitchell Santner, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mayank Markande, Trent Boult.

Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals - Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, 7.30pm local time

Who are the players to watch out for?

Rajasthan began their season with an easy win over Chennai, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again taking the limelight with a whirlwind 17-ball 52. All eyes will be on the teenager. Jofra Archer, meanwhile, looked in rhythm against CSK, while Brijesh Sharma is also one to watch out for. They would probably field the same side, with Donovan Ferreira likely coming on as an impact sub.

Gujarat lost a close encounter to Punjab, with Prasidh Krishna impressing with the ball. Ashok Sharma, who started his IPL career with a 150kph thunderbolt, is also one to keep an eye on. They will also want their top three of Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler to come good. They may want to go with the same XII again.

          Toss and playing XIIs

Toss is scheduled to take place at 7pm local time.

Gujarat Titans (Probably playing XII): Shubman Gill (c), B Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler (wk), Washington Sundar, Glenn Phillips, M Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, Ashok Sharma.

Rajasthan Royals (Probable playing XII): Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel (wk), Riyan Parag (c), Shimron Hetmyer, Donovan Ferreira, Ravindra Jadeja, Jofra Archer, Nandre Burger, Sandeep Sharma, Ravi Bishnoi, Brijesh Sharma.
