West Indies whitewashed Ireland in the three-match ODI series to make it four wins in the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29 cycle. Here’s the updated points table after the series.
The West Indies completed a 3-0 sweep against Ireland with a 64-run win in the final ODI. Stafanie Taylor was the star for the visitors in the game, as she notched up their 10th ODI century to propel the team to 257 runs in their 50 overs. In the process, Taylor also made history, becoming the first West Indies woman and the fifth overall to complete 10,000 runs in international cricket.
It was a clinical show with the ball for the West Indies as Ireland were skittled for 193 in the 44th over of the innings. Skipper Gaby Lewis was the top-scorer with 50, but no other batter could convert a decent start for the hosts.
Karishma Ramharack and Afy Fletcher picked up three wickets each for the West Indies while skipper Hayley Matthews scalped a couple to finish with seven wickets in the series. Matthews also won the Player of the Series award for scoring 265 runs in three matches.
