Watch: Naseem Shah produced a sizzling delivery that breezed past the defence of Mark Chapman to hit the top of off stump during the third ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand at Karachi.

Chasing 288, New Zealand were looking to stitch together a partnership in the middle overs. Captain Tom Latham and Chapman looked set to lay a solid foundation With New Zealand on 168-3 after 34 overs, Babar Azam turned to Naseem for a wicket, and his speedster did not disappoint.

He bowled a back-of-a-length delivery that pitched on middle and leg and skidded through. Chapman tried to defend but was awfully late as the ball whistled past his bat and pegged back off stump.

It was, in many ways, the ideal dismissal for a fast bowler, as the ball eventually hit the top of off stump. Naseem was understandably delighted and that wicket helped Pakistan tighten the screws on New Zealand.

Debutant Cole McConchie struck a fifty later in the innings but it was not enough as Pakistan coasted to a 26-run win. Naseem picked up two wickets and was ably supported by Mohammad Wasim and Shaheen Shah Afridi, both of whom scalped two wickets apiece as well. Courtesy of that win, Pakistan have now taken an unassailable lead in the five-match ODI series against New Zealand.
