The last time Pakistan faced South Africa in a bilateral series was in December last year, when they achieved a historic 3-0 clean sweep.
Overall, in head-to-head ODI clashes, South Africa hold the edge with 52 wins, while Pakistan have won 34, with one match ending in a no result.
