Noman Ali headlines Pakistan's dominance
After electing to bat first in their first match of the WTC cycle, Pakistan posted 378 on the board courtesy of 93s from Imam-ul-Haq and Salman Agha and a couple of 70-plus scores from Shan Masood and Mohammad Rizwan. Senuran Muthusamy equalled Shane Warne with his six-wicket haul in the first innings for South Africa.
The visitor's response was led by a brilliant hundred by No.4 Tony de Zorzi. He was supported by Ryan Rickelton's 71 as South Africa managed to get up to 269, but they still fell 109 short of Pakistan's total.
