From the 2017 edition, the leading run-scorer of every season of the Pakistan Super League is awarded the Green Cap and the Hanif Mohammad Award.
The previous winners are Kamran Akmal (2017), Luke Ronchi (2018), Shane Watson (2019), Babar Azam (2020, 2021, and 2024), Fakhar Zaman (2022), and Mohammad Rizwan (2023). Fakhar’s 2022 record of 588 runs remains a season record for the league.
PSL 2025 Green Cap: Top run-scorers after today's Lahore vs Multan match
Multan captain Mohammad Rizwan shot to the top of the run-scorers' list with his unbeaten 76 in a losing cause. He is the first to break the 300-run barrier this season, overtaking the in-form Sahibzada Farhan. Daryl Mitchell made inroads in the top 10 for his match-winning 38-ball 64. So did Sikandar Raza, for finishing things off for Lahore with an unbeaten 21-ball 40 and Abdullah Shafique, who contributed with 34 off 25 in the run chase.
