The Pakistan Super League is set to resume on May 17 – here are the updated squads for the 2025 PSL.
Along with the IPL, the PSL too will resume on Saturday after both India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire following increased political tensions. The Pakistan Super League had been temporarily suspended after 26 games on May 7, leading to a harrowing experience for several overseas players.
However, the league is set to restart, with Peshawar Zalmi taking on Karachi Kings at Rawalpindi tomorrow. Four league games remain and will be played until May 19, before the playoffs begin on May 21. The final is scheduled to be held on May 25.
According to ESPNCricinfo, a “significant” number of overseas players are unlikely to return to play in the PSL after the circumstances in which they had to leave the country. David Warner, Mohammad Nabi, Alex Hales and Tim Seifert are some of the players who will return.
