
A number of player have withdrawn from PSL 2025 due to various reasons: here are live updates on squad changes, including the absent players and their replacements.
The Pakistan Super League's tenth edition, also called PSL X, began on April 11, with the opening ceremony in Rawalpindi. Matches will be held in Multan, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi.
Due to their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 hosting commitments, the PCB decided to push the PSL from their usual window earlier in the year to April-May.
The clash with IPL 2025 has meant a direct tussle to procure the best players in the league. With the IPL auction held earlier than the PSL draft, a majority of high-profile players have already been taken by the IPL. There's also been some cross-movement: Corbin Bosch withdrew from the PSL to play the IPL, while Kane Williamson will miss a part of the PSL, presumably due to his broadcast commitments at the IPL.
Bosch was consequently banned by the PSL for one year.
