On May 18, PSL 2025 will have a double-header in Rawalpindi – Multan Sultans versus Quetta Gladiators, followed by Peshawar Zalmi versus Lahore Qalandars: find all match updates including live score, commentary, toss updates and more from the QG vs MS and LQ vs PZ games here.
PSL 2025 resumed on May 17 after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire. Karachi Kings beat Peshawar Zalmi in the first match upon resumption to not only qualify but also ensure qualification for Islamabad United.
Quetta Gladiators have already booked a spot, not only in the playoffs but also in the Qualifier. Multan Sultans, on the other hand, have been eliminated. The first match is, thus, of little consequence for this season, though QG will make the most of the opportunity to get much-needed match practice.
The other match, between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi, will determine the fourth playoffs spot. Whoever wins will go through, though LQ, being a point ahead, hold an advantage: they will qualify even in the case of no result.

Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators and vs Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars: Team news
Rilee Rossouw, a bona-fide PSL legend, and Finn Allen will return for the last leg of PSL 2025 for QG. Kusal Mendis, who now has a contract with the Gujarat Titans, will not return, alongside Sean Abbott and Mark Chapman. They have drafted in Dinesh Chandimal, Gulbadin Naib, and Avishka Fernando instead.
As mentioned above, MS have been eliminated. None of their original overseas cricketers will return for the game. However, they did sign up Josh Brown, Peter Hatzoglou, and Dilshan Madushanka.
PZ are coming off a defeat on May 17. Luke Wood, who bowled magnificently despite the outcome, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Max Bryant, and Najibullah Zadran all returned to the PZ squad, but not Mitchell Owen, who joined the Punjab Kings in the IPL. PZ have also signed up Daniel Sams.
Sikandar Raza will play the Test match against England and, as a result, miss the rest of the PSL, as will will David Wiese, Daryl Mitchell, and Sam Billings. LQ have signed up Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Shakib Al Hasan instead.
