MS vs PZ: Team news
For Sultans, captain Mohammad Rizwan has been a bright spot, currently leading the run charts. For Peshawar, Babar Azam, too, has hit two fifties, but his strike-rate, at 114.09, has been quite concerning. In their last game, PZ put on a combined bowling performance, with each of their six bowlers picking up a wicket each. Maaz Sadaqat, their teenage batter, has also provided thrust to the middle order, but the form of Saim Ayub after his return from injury is concerning.
Australia's Mitch Owen, currently with PZ, has been signed up Punjab Kings, and could play a brief role in the IPL if Zalmi are eliminated.
The two teams faced off on April 19, where Zalmi crushed Sultans by 120 runs.
There's an excessive heat warning in Multan, with temperatures set to go as high as 38'C this week.
