Lahore Qalandars are third on the PSL points tablewith three wins from six games. They lost their previous encounter against Islamabad - also the first match of the season - comprehensively by eight wickets. Rishad Hossain and Shaheen Afridi have led their bowling attack, having picked up eight wickets each so far, while their batting has depended on Fakhar Zaman (214 runs at 35.66) and Daryl Mitchell (210 runs at 35).
Islamabad United have had to deal with multiple player pull-outs due to various reasons. But that has also provided them with opportunities to rope in some in-form Pakistani talent, including the likes of Sahibzada Farhan, who is second on the run-scorers' list so far and Mohammad Faiq, who averages 100 in T20 cricket. Jason Holder has led the way with the ball for Islamabad, having taken 12 wickets from five games at an economy rate of 7.50. They are coming back after a week-long gap, and are yet to lose a match.
