J&K seamer Auqib Nabi took five wickets for five runs to send Rajasthan reeling during their Ranji Trophy 2025/26 fixture in Srinagar.

Nabi ran through Rajasthan in the second innings, taking all five wickets to fall so far on day two of their Ranji Trophy clash. The 28-year-old, who has been in great form with the red ball, and followed the five-for with a fifty in the first innings. His 55 off 65, aided by eight fours and two sixes from No.9, is his first fifty in professional cricket.
Nabi picked up three wickets in the first innings, but those were all lower-order batters (including Akash Singh, promoted to three). His fifty then helped J&K get a 131-run first-innings lead.
However, it was his bowling in the second innings that really stood out: he cut through Rajasthan, taking five wickets in just six overs, including two maidens, giving away just five runs.

It included the wickets of captain Mahipal Lomror: three batters succumbed to a duck, and only Deepak Hooda getting into double-figures. At stumps, Rajasthan were 41-5.
He currently has the second-most wickets in this Ranji Trophy, with 15 at 9.33. Against Mumbai in their first game, Nabi also took a five-for, even contributing with the bat with scores of 21 and 37*.
He was also in good form during the Duleep Trophy that preceded it, taking a five-for against East Zone for North Zone, including four wickets in fo He finished the previous Ranji season with a six-wicket haul against Kerala.
