The upcoming SA20 will start on December 26. Here’s the list of Indian players who have registered in the season four auction for SA20.

How many Indian players have registered for SA20 auction?

A total of 784 players have registered for the auction on September 9 in Cape Town. Thirteen Indian players, including veterans Piyush Chawla and Siddarth Kaul, have registered for the auction.

Dinesh Karthik is the only Indian player to have featured in the league, having turned out for Paarl Royals during the 2024-25 season.

"All the Indian players have a base price of 200,000 Rand, except Piyush Chawla, whose reserve price is 1,000,000 Rand. Imran Khan has been listed with a base value of 500,000 Rand," reported Cricbuzz.

Piyush Chawla

Chawla was part of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup squads. Overall, he played three Tests, 25 ODIs, and seven T20Is. He called time on his professional career earlier this year, ending as the fourth-highest wicket-taker in IPL history.

Siddharth Kaul

Kaul ended his Indian cricket career as the highest wicket-taker in India's domestic limited-overs competitions: Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A) and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20). His breakout IPL season came in 2018 when he took 21 wickets at an average of 26.04 and an economy rate of 8.28, helping Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) reach the final. This performance earned him his maiden India cap, and he went on to play three ODIs and three T20Is.

Ankit Rajpoot

The Uttar Pradesh pacer retired from Indian domestic cricket in December last year. He finished his career with 248 first-class wickets at an average of 29.85, 71 List A wickets at 26.94, and 105 T20 wickets at 21.55 and an economy rate of 7.75.

Having made his IPL debut in 2013, he played 29 matches, taking 24 wickets at an average of 33.92 and an economy rate of 9.23.

Sarul Kanwar (Punjab)

The 37-year-old batter, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, represented his birth state along with Punjab and Chandigarh across various formats. He was part of the Mumbai Indians’ IPL squad in 2011 but didn’t get a game. When he got a chance for MI in the Champions League T20, he hit a rapid 45 against Cape Cobras. Kanwar has scored 548 runs at an average of 21.92 and a strike rate of 122.04 in 26 T20s.

Anureet Singh Kathuria (Delhi)

The Delhi-born fast bowler represented Railways, Baroda, and Sikkim in Indian domestic cricket. He played 23 IPL matches, taking 18 wickets at an average of 34.61 and an economy rate of 9.07. His breakthrough season was the 2013-14 domestic year, where he picked up 45 first-class wickets at an average of 19.48, eventually earning him a spot in the Rest of India squad for the Irani Cup and in the subsequent India A’s tour of Australia.

Ansari Marouf

Marouf hails from Mira Bhayandar, a city in the Thane district of Maharashtra. He has played in various local competitions in Mumbai, with his latest performance coming in July, where he scored a 22-ball 68 and took 2-28 with his off-breaks in a one-wicket victory for Mumbai Cricket Club against Borivali Strikers.
