SA20 2025/26: Format and schedule

The fourth edition of the SA20 will see defending champions MI Cape Town taking on Durban’s Super Giants, who finished last in the previous edition, in the opener on December 26.

The competition follows a double round-robin format, with each side taking on the other five twice in the league stage. The top two sides after the league stage will face off in Qualifier 1, with the winner qualifying for the final.

The third and fourth-placed teams will play in the Eliminator. The Qualifier 1 losers and Eliminator winners will then play the Qualifier 2 for the second spot in the final, which will be played on January 25.
