The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025 will get underway on November 25 – here's where you can watch the tournament in India, both on TV and via livestream.

What is the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy format?

The T20 competition is India's premier domestic T20 competition, and is played by the 38 first-class sides in India. Mumbai won the 2025 tournament, after Suryakumar Yadav blasted 48 to help them chase down 175 to beat Madhya Pradesh in the final.

The tournament will be played across 136 matches from November 26 to December 18. The first stage will see 32 teams split into four groups, while the remaining six teams will compete in the Plate Group. The top two finishers from the Plate competition will be promoted to the elite groups next year. The bottom performing two teams from the Elite groups will be relegated to the Plate competition.

All teams in the Elite Groups will play each other once, with the top two teams in each group qualifying for an eight team Super League, where all teams will play each other once, ahead of the final on December 18 at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
