The third Ashes 2025/26 Test gets underway on Wednesday (December 17) in Adelaide with Australia leading the five-match series 2-0. Here are how the odds stack up for the match.

Who will win the third Test?

Betway have Australia listed as heavy favourites to win the Adelaide Test and take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the Ashes 2025/26 series. The home side have been given odds of 9/20, compared to the visitors’ risky 21/10. Draw seems highly unlikely with odds of 11/1, considering England’s record of just two draws in the Brendon McCullum era.

Who will score a century in the first innings?

Travis Head, who was promoted to the opening slot due to Usman Khawaja’s back spasms in Perth, has been the top scorer of the series so far with 199 runs in four innings. Though 60% of his runs in the series so far came in a record-breaking chase in the first Test, he has looked sharp and at home as an opener. But he only has the fourth-best odds to score a ton in the first innings at 5/1.

Steve Smith, fresh off a brutal takedown of Jofra Archer in Brisbane, is the favourite to score a first-innings century at 10/3. Teammate Marnus Labuschagne is the second favourite, with Betway offering odds of 9/2 for him to score a hundred in the first innings.

After breaking his Test century drought in Australia at the Gabba, Joe Root has odds of 5/1 to score a first-innings ton in Adelaide.

Who will take 10+ wickets in the match?

Betway have also listed odds for bowlers to take 10 or more wickets in the match. The series’ top wicket-taker with 18 so far, Mitchell Starc is the favourite to pick up a 10-wicket haul in the match, with odds of 11/2.

He is followed by Australia captain Pat Cummins, slated to make a comeback after missing the first two Tests, priced at 7/1 to pick his third 10-wicket haul.

Jofra Archer has been handed unlikely odds of 12/1 to recover from the Brisbane Test to return a career-best haul in Adelaide. Brydon Carse, the second-highest wicket-taker with nine, has odds of 16/1 to pick up 10 or more wickets in the Test.
