Electing to bat first, the Trent Rockets lost Finn Allen early, but were soon revived with a 63-run partnership between Ben Duckett and Aneurin Donald. Additionally, Donald’s cameo of a 19-ball 40 provided the required acceleration. As for the Sunrisers, Carse picked up two wickets in exchange of 20 runs.
Marsh scored two fours and as many sixes en route to his 35-ball 41, and was brilliantly supported by Crawley and Brook’s 26 and 46, respectively. However, when Sunrisers needed 35 off 20, Amir sent back both Marsh and Brook in a span of 10 deliveries to earn a crucial four points for the Rockets.

MI London are currently placed second on the table with 12 points to their name, whereas the Super Giants find themselves at the fifth spot with eight points to show.
