Trent Rockets clinched their maiden Women's Hundred title yesterday (August 16), beating SunRisers Leeds in the final. Here’s Wisden's Women's Hundred 2026 team of the tournament.
Sophia Dunkley - Trent Rockets
M: 9 | 301 runs at 37.62, SR: 164.48 | HS: 65, 3 fifties
Dunkley was one of the pillars for Trent Rockets at the top of the order. Her three fifties came in consequential games against Manchester Super Giants, SunRisers Leeds and Birmingham Phoenix, with scores of 57, 56 and 65 respectively.
Phoebe Litchfield - Sunrisers Leeds
M: 10 | 303 runs at 33.66, SR: 167.4 | HS: 71*, 2 fifties
Litchfield got decent starts in the middle phase of the tournament, but could only convert two of those into 50+ scores. Her unbeaten 71 helped Sunrisers Leeds chase a modest 111 against Birmingham Phoenix in Birmingham.
Maia Bouchier - Southern Brave
M: 9 | 200 runs at 22.22, SR: 117.64 | HS: 46
Bouchier started off the tournament with two single-digit totals, but soon caught up with three consecutive 30+ scores. Her 38 against the Rockets took the team to a respectable total of 117-5.
Nat Sciver-Brunt - Trent Rockets
M: 6 | 197 runs at 49.25, SR: 165.54 | HS: 67*, 1 fifty
The England skipper missed the start of the competition to manage her workload efficiently. However, Sciver-Brunt created an impact in the six matches she played, scoring almost 200 runs at 49.25. Her 36-ball 67 against MI London steered the way for the Rockets in a 122-run chase.
Annabel Sutherland - Sunrisers Leeds
M: 10 | 315 runs at 63, SR 152.91, HS: 62* | 11 wickets at 20.81, Ec: 7.19, BBI: 2-17
Awarded Player of the Tournament, Sutherland starred with both bat and ball throughout the season for SunRisers. She was unbeaten four times out of nine innings, and also scalped 11 wickets in the campaign.
Amy Jones - London Spirit
M: 8 | 155 runs at 19.37, SR: 118.32 | HS: 49
Jones got frequent starts, but was unable to convert them into big totals. Her highest score of 49 against MI London at The Oval helped London Spirit get to 51-5 to tie the game, earning a crucial point.
Freya Kemp - Welsh Fire
M: 8 | 192 runs at 32, SR: 138.12 | HS: 72*, 1 fifty
Freya Kemp was one of the most important players in the top-order for Welsh Fire this season. Her unbeaten 72 in their second-last fixture against SunRisers Leeds was instrumental in getting them to a respectable 121-8.
Deepti Sharma - Sunrisers Leeds
M: 10 | 69 runs at 23, SR 115, HS: 28* | 13 wickets at 13.53, Ec: 7.28, BBI: 3-11
Though Deepti Sharma didn't make much of an impact with the bat, she was crucial with the ball in hand. She scalped 13 wickets at a very reasonable economy, and bagged three each against the Welsh Fire and Birmingham Phoenix.
Samantha Bates - Trent Rockets
M: 9 | 13 wickets at 14.46, Ec 6.40, BBI: 3/10
Bates was the joint-highest wicket-taker in the tournament, alongside Deepti. She came into the tournament with a three-wicket haul in exchange of 10 runs, and ended up wicketless in just two games out of nine.
Charlie Dean - London Spirit
M: 8 | 12 wickets at 11.66, Ec 5.60, BBI: 3/17
With three wickets each against MI London and Birmingham Phoenix, Dean was the highest wicket-taker for London Spirit in the tournament. However, her spell against the Sunrisers Leeds on August 4 was extremely economical, as she gave away a mere 13 runs in 20 deliveries.
Issy Wong - Southern Brave
M: 9 | 12 wickets at 16.83, Ec 6.92, BBI: 3/15
Wong did not start the tournament on the best of notes, conceding 27 runs off 15 deliveries against Welsh Fire. However, she bounced back with a three-wicket haul in the very next game against SunRisers Leeds, in exchange of 15 runs. She picked up eight wickets in her last four matches of the season.
