The West Indies were docked two World Test Championship (WTC) points for slow over-rate in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Antigua.

The home side were fined 10 per cent of their match fee and docked two WTC points for falling two overs short of their minimum overs target. As per the World Test Championship playing conditions, every team is penalised one point for every over they fall short of.

With the West Indies falling behind by two overs, all of their players were fined 10 per cent of their match fee.

The second match of the two-Test series was a high-scoring draw, with Lahiru Udara, Justin Greaves and Shai Hope all scoring hundreds. In reply to Sri Lanka’s first-innings total of 549-9, the home side were bowled out for 499.

Sri Lanka, 0-1 behind in the series, tried to force a result by declaring at 251-9 on the final day and setting the West Indies a 302-run target, with almost two sessions left in the day. But rain ensured the game ended in a draw and the home side won the series.
