Table toppers RCB will play directly in the final on February 5. There, they will face the winner of the Eliminator, to be played on February 3, between GG and one of MI, DC, and UPW.

What do MI, DC, UPW need to qualify?
Delhi Capitals
The equation is the simplest for DC. If they win, they reach eight points. If the match is washed out, they still get seven. They qualify in both cases. If they lose, they do not qualify.
Mumbai Indians
MI will be eliminated if DC win. However, they have a chance if UPW beat DC – but not by an absurd margin (more of that below).
UP Warriorz
To qualify, not only do they have to win but do that by a truly colossal, almost unrealistic margin. As is the case in these scenarios, it is less difficult if they bowl (or bat) really well in the second half.
For example, if UPW bat first and post 200, they have to restrict DC to 44 or fewer. If they get 225, they can allow DC to get to 67. If they amass 250, restricting DC to 90 will suffice. It is worth a mention that the highest ever WPL total is 225-5, though UPW were the side to get that.
If that sounds unrealistic, things look nearly impossible if DC bat first. If UPW bowl out DC for 35, they cannot take more than an over to chase the target (in other words, they will have to hit six sixes). The more DC score, the less probable the target will get.
