The Women's Premier League 2026 auction will be a mega auction, giving teams a chance to build their squads with a near clean slate. Each team has retained at least one player, with Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians retaining five each (including two overseas players). UP Warriorz have only retained one player.
Before the auction, each team had a purse of INR 15 crore, which they can use to assemble a squad of minimum 15 players. A total of 277 players have been shortlisted for the auction.
