The first round of Women's Premier League fixtures ended today (January 10). Here's what the league points table looks like.
Season four of the competition began on January 9, as RCB took on MI in the opener, before a double-header on Saturday (January 10).
In the first game, the defending champions posted 154-6 thanks to Sajeevan Sajana's 45, before reducing a thin RCB batting lineup to 63-4 and 65-5. But Arundhati Reddy stuck around to give Nadine de Klerk company as the South African repeated her World Cup heroics to take RCB over the line off the final ball, remaining not out on 63.

Saturday's double-header kicked off with UP Warriorz playing the Gujarat Giants. Gujarat skipper Ash Gardner (65) and WPL debutant Anushka Sharma (44) lifted them to an imposing 207-4. UP were always up against it, but Phoebe Litchfield kept them in the chase with 78. In the end, it was too much to do; despite a late cameo from Asha Sobhana (27 off 10), they fell 10 runs short.
The second game of the day saw MI rack up 195-4 after being put in to bat. Harmanpreet Kaur (74*) and Nat Sciver-Brunt (70) did the bulk of the work, while Nandani Sharma took two wickets. Delhi Capitals were never in the chase, sliding to 33-4 and 46-5 in seven overs. Chinelle Henry then hit 56 from No.7, and they ended up losing by 50 runs.
