- 1st T20I: October 29, Harare Sports Club - 1:30pm local time
- 2nd T20I: October 31, Harare Sports Club - 1:30pm local time

The biggest piece of squad news from either side is the return of 39-year-old leg spinner Graeme Cremer. The former Zimbabwe captain will make his first international appearance since 2018.

The head-to-head record between these two teams in the shortest format is heavily tilted in Afghanistan's favour, with 16 wins to Zimbabwe's two in 18 matches.

Zimbabwe's first win over Afghanistan was in September 2019, as they chased down 156 with seven wickets and three balls to spare. Captain Hamilton Masakadza was the hero on the day, with 71 off 42.
Their next win came in the sides' previous bilateral series, which was in December 2024. In Harare, Zimbabwe chased 145 off the last ball of the match, Brian Bennett top-scoring with a run-a-ball 49.
