The Cricket Impact Group has announced it will continue its partnership with Major League Cricket franchise, San Francisco Unicorns, naming them the official co-presenting partner of the inaugural Cricket Impact Summit, which will take place in October.
The collaboration builds on the momentum of the San Francisco Unicorns Cricket Impact Lunch, presented by Qualys, which was held earlier this summer. The event brought together sponsors, cricket leaders, and community stakeholders for a powerful pre-season gathering which highlighted the Unicorns’ vision, purpose, and commitment to growing cricket in the Bay Area and beyond.
Now, the Unicorns will return as a supporting force behind the first-ever Cricket Impact Summit & Expo, collaborating with the Cricket Impact Group to bring together leaders across sport, business, and culture to accelerate cricket’s growth in North America. The summit will be a key platform to discuss cricket's expansion in the US, and will unite global leaders to explore cricket’s evolution, impact, and future, spotlighting innovation, sustainability, investment, and growth across all levels of the sport, as well as showcase cutting-edge cricket technology, equipment, and services from global innovators.
The Unicorns made the knockout stages of the MLC this year, where they narrowly lost to eventual winners MI New York in the Eliminator. Unicorns bowlers Xavier Bartlett and Haris Rauf were the two top wicket-takers in the competition.
