The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 schedule has been released, with the tournament set to start on Friday, June 12, in England.
A total of 12 teams will participate in the upcoming edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup, divided into two groups of six. The top two teams from both groups will then move to the semi-finals, scheduled for June 30 and July 2, with the final set for July 5.
Hosts England will play the tournament opener against Sri Lanka on June 12 in Edgbaston. They will face the West Indies in what could be a crucial match-up on June 24 at Lord’s, with England’s game against defending champions New Zealand, Group 1’s last scheduled game, will be played on June 27 at The Oval.
Group 2 will start with a blockbuster clash between Australia and South Africa on June 13 at Old Trafford in a rematch of the 2024 edition’s semi-final. India and Pakistan, drawn in the same group of an ICC tournament yet again, will resume their rivalry on June 14 at Edgbaston.
South Africa and India, finalists of the 2025 ODI World Cup, will face off on June 21 in Old Trafford, while the Australia v India encounter is the last scheduled group-stage match, to be played on June 28 at Lord’s.
