Australia win T20I series 2-0

The first match of the series saw New Zealand's Tim Robinson score his maiden T20I hundred (106 off 66 balls) as the hosts made 181-6. It didn't prove to be enough as Australia, led by captain Mitchell Marsh's 85 off 43 and sharp cameos from Travis Head (31 off 18), Matthew Short (29 off 18), and Tim David (21 off 12), overhauled the target in just 16.3 overs.

The second game was washed out after Australia faced 13 deliveries in the first innings, which was already reduced to a nine-over contest when it started. Marsh then put up another world class performance, smashing a lone-effort hundred in a run-chase of 157, as Australia won by three wickets with two overs to spare.

No other Australian batter crossed 15 in the chase, while Marsh finished unbeaten on 103 off 52, drowning out Jimmy Neesham's all-round brilliance where he scored 25 off 18 and took 4-26, becoming the first New Zealander to do the double of four wickets and 25-plus runs in a men's T20I.
