Cricket Impact Summit

The first edition of the Cricket Impact Summit & Expo launches this week in California, where leaders, innovators, and investors will unite to shape the future of cricket in the USA.

The summit marks a major moment for cricket's growth and innovation in the US, bringing together leaders from across the sport – from leagues investors, and players, to brands, content creators and fans – all united by one vision: to help cricket take its place on the main stage of American sport. Held at Santa Clara Marriott in the heart of Silicon Valley, the summit will feature a mix of main stage panels, breakouts and networking sessions, designed to spark collaboration and accelerate cricket's growth in the USA.

“For the next few days, Silicon Valley becomes the home of cricket in America,” said Adam Hall, Co-Founder, Cricket Impact Group. “This isn’t just another conference - it’s a movement. A space for cricket to gather, debate, and build together.”

The Cricket Impact Group, the driving force behind the conference, is a platform dedicated to growing cricket's footprint in North America through education, social and commercial innovation. Co-founder of the group and former England fast-bowler Liam Plunkett, said: “Cricket in America is real - it’s happening, and the world is watching. What excites me most is the potential; the talent, the diversity, and the scale of opportunity here are unlike anywhere else in the world. This week is about turning that attention into action - through education, inclusion, and investment."

The summit is taking place at a pivotal time for cricket's growth in the US. The LA28 Olympic Games will feature cricket for the first time in over a century, with men's and women's T20 tournaments set to feature. The women's game is also rapidly rising, with the 2023 Women's T20 World Cup generating 1.39 billion digital video views.

To tap into those opportunities, the summit is built around three core pillars: Education, empowering new fans and brands to understand cricket's rules, culture and potential. Social, celebrating the game's power to unite diverse communities across borders. And commercial, unlocking the business opportunities that will sustain cricket's growth for generations.
