The second edition of the Delhi Premier League is set to kick off on August 2. Here's where to watch DPL 2025, including TV and live-streaming details.
Organised by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), the tournament enters its second season, featuring several international players alongside domestic cricketers with DDCA affiliations.
Delhi Premier League: What's the format?
Mirroring the IPL format, the top two teams face off in Qualifier 1, with the winners entering the final, while the third and fourth place teams battle in the Eliminator, the winners of which then meet the Qualifier 1 loser in Qualifier 2 for the remaining final spot.
Like last year, it will be played in both men's and women's versions.
Which are the teams for DPL 2025?
While last year's competition included six teams (West Delhi Lions, North Delhi Strikers, South Delhi Superstarz, Purani Delhi-6, Delhi Kings and East Delhi Riders), this season expands to eight with new franchises Outer Delhi Warriors and New Delhi Tigers. The women's tournament remains unchanged with four participating teams. They are Central Delhi Queens, North Delhi Strikers, East Delhi Riders and South Delhi Superstarz.
One trophy.

East Delhi Riders claimed the inaugural title with a thrilling three-run victory over South Delhi Superstarz in the final. The tournament's breakout star, Priyansh Arya, playing for South Delhi Superstarz, earned Player of the Tournament after amassing 608 runs in 10 innings.
His stellar performance earned him a 3.8 INR crore IPL contract with Punjab Kings, where he justified the investment by scoring 475 runs at a 179.24 strike rate during their runner-up campaign. Notably, he smashed a 39-ball century - the joint-fifth fastest in IPL history.
