India U19 are touring England for five Youth ODIs and two Youth Tests. The ODI series is currently tied 1-1 as the teams head for the third game, in Northampton.
In the first ODI, at Hove, the England U19s collapsed from 76-1 to 174 as only Isaac Mohammed (42 in 28 balls) and Rocky Flintoff (56) got some runs. For the tourists, four bowlers got at least two wickets, but Kanishk Chouhan (10-1-20-3) was the only one to take three. India sealed the chase in only 24 overs as Vaibhav Suryavanshi led the charge with a 19-ball 48.
India were bowled out for 290 in the second game, at Northampton. Four of their batters reached 45, but no one made it to 50 as Alex French (4-71), Jack Home (3-63), and Alex Green (3-60) shared the wickets. Captain Thomas Rew then hit the fastest ever Youth ODI hundred for England en route to an 89-ball 131 as the hosts won with one wicket and three balls in hand. For India, RS Ambrish returned 4-80.
