Ticket sales have begun for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup, which starts in less than a month's time, with prices as low as around one US dollar each.
The ICC have announced a ticket pre-sale for the tournament, with the first game set to be played in Guwahati on September 30. There was growing pressure for tickets to be released, after revised venues for several matches were announced last month.
On Thursday, September 4, the ICC released details for how to buy tickets for all of the group matches, which will take place in India and Sri Lanka, on tickets.cricketworldcup.com. The pre-sale will last four days from 7pm IST on September 4, with the second phase of sales set to begin at 8pm IST on September 9.

Ticket prices will start at INR 100, which is approximately $1.13 or £0.84 in the first pre-sale phase, with tickets not currently on sale for the knockout stages of the tournament. The venue for the final has yet to be decided.
There was growing pressure on the board to announce details of ticket sales, with ticket ballots for next year's Women's T20 World Cup in England already open. Comparisons were also made to ticket sales for the men's World Cup in India in 2023, when tickets were released only 41 days before the start of the tournament.
Eight teams will compete across the tournament, first in a round-robin group stage before the top four finishers advance to the knockouts. Five venues: Guwahati, Indore, Navi Mumbai, Visakhapatnam and Colombo will be used, with India and Sri Lanka set to play the tournament opener in Guwahati.
It was announced earlier this week that the prize pool for the competition has been raised to $13.88 million, which is almost quadruple that of the previous edition in 2022. It's also higher than the $10 million prize pool for the men's World Cup in 2023.
