South Africa beat India comprehensively 4-1 in the recently concluded women's T20I series, while Bangladesh will host Sri Lanka in another starting april 28. Here's how the ICC women's T20I rankings look like after the SA vs IND series and ahead of the BAN vs SL one.
South Africa overpower India at home
A record-breaking series by captain Laura Wolvaardt helped South Africa dominate defending ODI champions India to secure a 4-1 series victory.
They started with three wins on the bounce before Deepti Sharma's all-round heroics helped India register a consolation win in the fourth game. South Africa came back strongly in the fifth T20I riding on Wolvaardt's 92* (56) to win by 23 runs.
The series result, however, did not lead to a reshuffling of the team rankings. India entered the series ranked third, while South Africa were ranked fifth. Both sides retained their respective spots, although there was movement in their rating points.
India dropped from 268 to 262 points, while South Africa gained six points to go from 239 to 245.
Australia (295) and England (277) continue to occupy the top two spots in the rankings.
Bangladesh host Sri Lanka
Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will play three T20Is following the conclusion of their ODI series which Sri Lanka won 2-1. The matches will be played on April 28 and 30 and May 2.

Bangladesh are ranked 10th with 195 points heading into the BAN vs SL T20I series, while Sri Lanka are ranked seventh with 229 points.
