Australia A will arrive in India to take on India A in two four-day and three one-day matches. Find the full schedule here.
The India A squad for the red-ball series was announced on Saturday (September 6), and features Shreyas Iyer as captain, the first time he will lead the side in first-class cricket since 2018. There are five other Test cricketers named in the form of Sai Sudharsan, Devdutt Padikkal, Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Prasidh Krishna. KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj will replace two of the 15-strong squad after the first of two first-class matches.
Australia announced both their squads for the tour last month. The red-ball side features Test cricketers Sam Konstas, Nathan McSweeney, Cooper Connolly and Todd Murphy. The headline name in the one-day side is Jake Fraser-McGurk, who enjoyed a breakout IPL campaign in 2024. Exciting young quicks Tom Straker and Callum Vidler are also in the white-ball team.
