The much-anticipated Major League Cricket 2023 starts on July 13. Texas Super Kings, owned by the same owners as Chennai Super Kings, have announced their coaching staff. Here’s all you need to know about them including the full list of coaches of TSK.

Much like their rivals Mumbai Indians, the Chennai Super Kings will be also owning a team in the Major League Cricket, the first edition of which is supposed to start in July 2023.

Texas Super Kings have announced their overseas signings and coaches over the past few days. The inaugural edition of the MLC will see the reunion of the Super Kings brand and Faf du Plessis, who is set to lead TSK.

Ambati Rayudu, who recently retired from Indian cricket after IPL 2023, will be seen in TSK colours as well, as will several other CSK veterans including Dwayne Bravo and Mitchell Santner.

Along with most of the playing squad, TSK have also announced their support staff, most of whom have already been associated with CSK in the IPL.

Head Coach

Stephen Fleming will carry over his role as the head coach of the Chennai Super Kings to the Texas Super Kings.

Assistant Coach

Eric Simmons, who has long been associated with CSK as the bowling coach, will be the assistant coach at TSK, along with Albie Morkel, another player who has had a successful association with CSK in the past.

Team Manager

CSK team manager Russell Radhakrishnan has been named as the team manager of the TSK as well.

Data Analyst

Lakshmi Narayanan, the current CSK analyst, will continue in the same role for TSK, though as high performance analyst.

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Gregory King will carry over his role as the strength & conditioning coach from CSK to Texas Super Kings.


Tommy Simsek, the lead CSK physiotherapist in the IPL, will continue in that role for TSK.
